raw chocolate

dear ally,

i am so sorry.

i starting making chocolates for you last night.

but we had to sample a few--just to make sure they were alright.

then we had to have a contest: mom's raw chocolate natural peanut butter goodness vs. reese's peanut butter eggs.

mom won.

and then the morning came.

everyone wanted to try a chocolate sucker.

because it is so much better on a stick.

because these melt in your hands.

and my kids suddenly hated the thought of being messy.

i now only have a couple left.

and they may not make it through the afternoon.

i am sorry.

my family will be happy to have me make you some more.
