brook's garden tour

four garden boxes.

each kid has there own box to plant, water and harvest.

i have an herb garden.

we have been harvesting lettuce and herbs and patiently waiting for the rest.

the kids love it.

i love having it right outside my kitchen, on the deck.

we planted: tomatoes, peas, chard (green, red and rainbow), kale, buttercrunch lettuce, radishes, beets, cucumbers, peppers, and lots of herbs.

i planted a few zuchinni, squash and pumpkins in our yard (i hear the deer won't touch squash. . .).

i feel very blessed. i wasn't sure if we would get a garden in our new house at all this year--so everything feels like a bonus to me. and i couldn't be happier than to see davis watering his garden every single day -- munching on stevia leaves. at dinner i declare, "this basil courtesy of davis' garden." awesome stuff.
